Novation is a British music equipment manufacturer founded in 1992 as Novation Electronic Music Systems. Novation synthesisers have been used by a wide range of musicians including French composer Jean Michel Jarre and British group Orbital. Today, the company specialises in MIDI controllers, analogue and virtual-analogue performance synthesisers, grid-based performance controllers and audio interfaces.
